Only one registration is needed per vehicle. The Ford Island Gate will open to the public at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.

The Navy will also be conducting tours and have static displays available. There is one registration link for parking and tours of the Arleigh Burke—class destroyer USS Frank E. Propeller Plane Build & Fly

Carefully assemble a rubber band-powered glider aircraft, complete with a dual-wheeled landing gear.

Foam Glider Build & Fly

Wooden Propeller Sanding

RC Training

Kids learn how to fly an aircraft in simulator. Then, they'll work with one of the pilots to conduct take-offs/landings on historic Ford Field – earning a signed logbook.

Aviation Learning Center Tour

Walk through our state-of-the-art facility and learn more about what your children can participate in while on a field trip to our Museum.

Our kids STEM activity sign ups are currently sold out.

If you have signed your child up but aren’t able to attend, please cancel your reservation so others can register. For those looking for a spot, please check back periodically for any openings. There will be other activities for kids to enjoy the whole weekend including a coloring station, preflight checks, open cockpits and a Kid Zone with bounce houses, rock climbing and inflatable obstacle courses.
