Overview
Students compare post-WWII jet aircraft to appreciate the differences and similarities between airplanes and birds. Each group will identify how wings and landing gear are designed for different jobs in aeronautics and nature.

Thanks to generous funding from the Freeman Foundation, Takitani Foundation, and Col. Robert F. Szul Scholarship Fund, the Museum is able to extend Virtual Classroom Visits for FREE to all State of Hawaii Department of Education classrooms while funding lasts.
Private schools and classrooms on the mainland can still access Virtual Classroom Visits for a charge of $100 per class.
