See Inside Our Library and Archive
October 26, 2023See inside the Library and Archive for an exclusive behind-the-scenes journey as we begin to skim the surface of the different artifacts and aviation history within the Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Library and Archive. Our Museum Library and Archive houses a remarkable collection of 23,000 books, periodicals, pulp magazines, photographs, art, and archival documents, making it a treasure trove for history enthusiasts and researchers.
Our Library and Archive collection offers a unique opportunity to study various aspects of the Second World War, with a special focus on the December 7th, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor and greater Oahu, as well as the broader Pacific theater of the war.
Together, we will take a rare glimpse into this invaluable resource, located on the first floor of the Operations Building at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, and talk about a few incredible artifacts housed within its walls.
The Library and Archive is open by appointment only, from Monday to Friday, between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. So, make sure to plan your visit and unlock the doors to the history waiting to be explored.
