Be part of something extraordinary—help us suspend historic aircraft inside the Museum’s iconic Hangar 79. With your support, these legendary warbirds will soar once more, displayed overhead in a powerful tribute to the heroes of our past.

Donate today—your gift will be matched, doubling your impact

Imagine stepping into Hangar 79

Above you, the F-100 Super Sabre gleams, its Korean War scars whispering of battles fought.

The MiG-15 looms, a Cold War rival tamed by American resolve.

The F-16 stands proud, a symbol of enduring strength.

A child gazes up at the swept-wing F-86 and feels the pulse of history.

A veteran beneath the MiG-21 hears the call of comrades lost.

Families trace the evolution from piston-powered warriors to jet-fueled titans—and grasp the grit and genius that secured our way of life.

Picture them soaring once more

Not in the air, but suspended in the hallowed expanse of Hangar 79, where bullet-scarred windows from December 7, 1941, stand as silent sentinels of resilience. These aircraft are more than metal—they are monuments to the innovators who built them, the pilots who flew them, and the ideals they defended.

But time is not on our side

These aircraft wait in the wings, yearning to tell their stories. To lift them into Hangar 79 requires precision engineering, reinforced supports, and meticulous preservation—all at a cost we cannot bear alone.

We must raise $500,000

to preserve and showcase a legendary fleet:

the L-13 Stinson, F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-5 Freedom Fighter, L-5 Sentinel, O-2 Skymaster, A-4 Skyhawk, F-104 Starfighter, F-100 Super Sabre, F-86 Sabre, MiG-15, and MiG-21—and to upgrade the exhibition space they will soon call home.
