Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Library and Archive

Overview

The Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Library and Archive consist of a collection of 23,000 books, periodicals, pulp magazines, photographs, art, and archival documents. The library will be especially useful for individuals looking to research topics related to the World War II, with special emphasis on the December 7th, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor and greater Oahu, the war in the Pacific theater, general aviation in the Pacific, and other research categories pertaining to aviation.

The Emil Buehler Perpetual Trust Library and Archive is located on the bottom floor of the Ford Island Control Tower (Operations Building).

Our Library is open to the public, however, we are located on an active military base. If you do not have base access, you will need to park at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center ($7 parking fee) and board the Royal Star shuttle, which will bring you to our Museum – depart at the second stop. No bags larger than wallet sized are allowed on the shuttle. Military are welcome to drive directly to our Museum.
