Give to Honor the Past and Inspire the Future
HELP US HONOR THE PAST AND INSPIRE THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW
Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum stands as more than a collection of planes and artifacts; it is a guardian of American legacy. Located on the site where America’s entry into World War II began, the Museum serves as a powerful reminder of the bravery and ingenuity of those who defended freedom at great personal risk.
As we share the stories of two of our most revered exhibits and the heroes behind them – we hope you will consider making a gift that will allow us to continue to pass on the legacy of our Greatest Generation, maintain our historic aircraft, and expand our educational programs to reach and empower thousands of young dreamers to aim high, follow in the footsteps of aviation’s pioneers, and shape the future of flight.
honoring the past
The B-25B & The Doolittle Raiders
One of the Museum’s most revered exhibits is the B-25B Mitchell, a bomber identical to those flown by the famed Doolittle Raiders in the audacious raid on Tokyo. Led by Lt. Col. James H. Doolittle, this courageous group of aviators carried out a daring strike on Tokyo just months after Pearl Harbor—a mission that lifted American spirits and demonstrated our resilience. The Doolittle Raiders’ story is a testament to the power of grit and determination in the face of overwhelming odds, and it continues to inspire generations.
THE WILDCAT & ACE JOE FOSS
Equally stirring is the story of Marine Ace Joe Foss. The Museum’s Wildcat aircraft is similar to the one flown by Joe Foss, a hero of the Guadalcanal campaign, who distinguished himself in the Pacific as one of America’s most celebrated fighter pilots. His skill and courage were instrumental in securing 26 aerial victories in the skies over the Pacific. Through this Wildcat, we connect visitors to his story and to the broader history of heroism that defined that critical period.
Inspiring the next generation of leaders
Through our exhibits and educational programs, we keep the stories of aviation’s trailblazers at the forefront, connecting visitors to the bravery, ingenuity, and sacrifices of those who fought for freedom.
Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is a place where history comes alive, and the future is shaped.
The Museum brings history to life, inspiring young minds through engaging educational programs.
Making An Impact Through Education
Our education programs give youth the chance to discover aviation history through hands-on learning experiences. The Museum reached over 5,000 students in 2023 alone through field trips, Scout programs, and summer camps. In total, with public programs, webinars, and community events, we impact an estimated 8,000–10,000 young minds each year, building a bridge from the past to the future and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for history and aviation.
