overview
A 5-day summer camp designed to encourage young women to pursue a career in aviation. In this introductory course to pilot ground school, each day is themed to a different STEM aspect of aviation history and science. The girls even get a chance to talk with female aviation professionals based here in Hawaii.
Program hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Students should arrive at the museum no earlier than 8:15 a.m. and be picked up no later than 4:15 p.m. We cannot accommodate early arrivals or late pickups.

Scholarship Opportunities
The Col. Robert F. Szul Scholarship is providing scholarships for the upcoming 2026 Flight School for Girls Summer Camp.
The Col. Robert F. Szul Scholarship welcomes applications from girls who are:
in grade 6 -8
able to attend an in-person summer program, July 13-17, 2026
Deadline to submit applications is June 1, 2026.
Students may seek assistance from a parent/guardian/teacher to submit this application.
Thanks to generous donors from our For Love of Country Gala, scholarships are available to cover the program fee, meals and materials for the 2026 Flight School for Girls summer programs.
