overview
Students entering grades 6–8 will prepare to become the next generation of aviation professionals. Structured as a summer academy, this program develops an aviation mindset through pilot training concepts, hands-on skill building, and immersive flight scenarios using industry-grade simulators. Students will also meet working aviation professionals during a career-focused excursion, connecting their training to real-world pathways and future opportunities in the aviation industry.
Program hours are 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. Campers should arrive at the museum no earlier than 8:15 a.m. and be picked up no later than 4:15 p.m. We cannot accommodate early arrivals or late pickups.

Scholarship Opportunities
Thanks to generous donors from our For Love of Country Gala, there is one scholarships available to cover the program fee, meals and materials for the 2026 Flight School for Boys summer programs.
This scholarship welcomes applications from boys who are:
in grade 6 -8
able to attend an in-person summer program, June 29 – July 3, 2026
Deadline to submit applications is May 18, 2026. Scholarship awardee is guaranteed a slot in the upcoming 2026 summer program – no prior registration needed.
Students may seek assistance from a parent/guardian/teacher to submit this application.
