There are several new views and ways to experience the stories of Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum!
From aircraft movements to new displays for our bullet hole-riddled windows and historic 1940s fire truck, there is lots to see.
Below is a sneak peak into what’s new at Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum.
Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum Aircraft On The Move
Visitors now have the opportunity to see some of their favorite aircraft outside in temporary locations. To accomodate necessary roof repairs of Hangar 79, the aircraft housed in the historic hangar have made their way to our outdoor exhibit space. Some of the aircraft are seeing the beautiful Hawaiian sun for the first time in a decade.
In the coming weeks, more aircraft will be moved to our outdoor exhibit space. You can currently view the F-5A Freedom Fighter, F-14D Tomcat, F-15 Eagle, F-4C Phantom II, F-86 Sabre, F-102A Delta Dagger, and our F-100F Super Sabre on the grounds of the battlefield.

Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is located within two historic hangars — Hangar 37 and Hangar 79 — which were both present during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The evidence of the attack today is visible today, most famously in the Hangar 79 windows still riddled with bullet holes from December 7, 1941.
You can now see one panel of Hangar 79’s windows in front of Hangar 37! View the aftermath of the date which will live in infamy with the Ford Island Control Tower rising behind the panel for a view that will inspire and honor the memories of the fallen.
East Wind Rain Screening every 15 minutes in Pacific Theater

The Pacific Theater has resumed screening of the 12 minute film, East Wind Rain. The award-winning film is shown every 15 minutes. Screening is free with purchase of general admission. The Pacific Theater is located in historic Hangar 37.

The Museum’s restored 1940s firetruck is now accessible for visitors to explore! Hop inside the drivers seat for the perfect picture in the same type of firetruck that was stationed on Ford Island during the December 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. Snap that perfect picture with the Ford Island Control Tower in the background.
Steps are available and doors are unlocked for easy access into the fire engine!
