75th Commemoration of the End of World War II

Salute Their Service, Honor Their Hope

The 2020 year marks the 75th Commemoration of the End of World War II, a war that claimed the lives of over 405,000 U.S. military personnel.

America’s involvement in this global conflict began with the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor and other sites across Oahu, and ended with the signing of the instrument of surrender on the decks of the USS Missouri. Decades later, Pearl Harbor remains a destination that inspires, educates and bonds us all.

The national 75th Commemoration of the End of World War II will bring together veterans, their families and all men and women who have served since that time together in tribute.

You are invited to take part in the commemoration of this historic event.
