50th Anniversary of Operation Homecoming
On Friday, Dec. 1 at 1:00 p.m. HST, Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum will host a panel discussion with Vietnam Veterans.
We invite you to join us for a significant event—the 50th Anniversary commemoration of Operation Homecoming, the return of 591 American prisoners of war held by North Vietnam. Join us for a compelling panel discussion featuring Vietnam veterans who were POWs during those challenging years.
Our panelists include Lt. Col. Thomas Hanton, USAF (Ret), Captain Charlie Plumb, USN (Ret), and Captain Jim Hickerson, USN (Ret) each with personal stories of resilience and courage. Carole Hickerson, the widow of a Vietnam hero, will also join us to discuss her tireless efforts to ensure that the sacrifices of those held captive or lost in action are never forgotten.
Following the discussion, there will be a book signing featuring CAPT Plumb’s “I Am No Hero” and COL Lee Ellis’s “Captured by Love”.
Don’t miss this opportunity to be a part of a meaningful conversation and honor the bravery of our veterans. Please click the button below to reserve for your spot for this FREE event.
