Exploring Science Through Flight
Can’t come to the Museum? Let us come to you! The Barnstorming Tour is a one-of-kind program exploring aviation concepts in classrooms across Oahu. Students learn the essentials of flight and then “fly” our large model P-40 simulator. A portable wind tunnels demonstrates the movement of wind over an airfoil, and tabletop experiments help students understand Newton’s Third Law of Motion and the Bernoulli Principle. The Barnstorming Tour is provided at no cost to the school.
