Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum is pleased to announce Astrophotography Workshops, a 2-day program for students in grades 5-8.
Astrophotography Workshops teach students how to research, explore, and photograph the cosmos using telescopes owned and maintained by the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. Participants will remotely access and control the MicroObservatory robotic telescopes during different phases of the workshop. Additionally, we will be sharing a virtual learning space, YouthAstroNet, to educate students with tutorials and quizzes while also showcasing student work.
An open house for family and friends will be held on the second day of each session from 3:00 – 3:30 pm for family and friends.
Cost: $90 for Museum Members, $99 for Non-Members. Program fee includes lunch and snacks for both days and program materials.
2018 dates coming soon.
Enrollment is limited.
